would u recommend me to buy 99 t6?
hey guyz,
I am thinking about buying a 99 s80 t6 2.8, the car has 82,000 miles on it and when i went to try it with my brother for a joy ride as soon as we started the engine we heard a noise coming from the left side while we are in the car it sounded like tic tic tic. so is this a BIG mechanical problem or it is an easy one to fix... but please tell me honselty if this car is goin to take a lot of money to fix it everynow and while cuz i really dont have that much money to spend on that car.
btw, the car war running smoothly on the road but with a little shake..

99 S80 YUK......... BIG $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ out of your pocket that u will never get it back... As a tech if it were to given to me I would still think twice.. Since it's endless amount of money needed for that car...
well guyz, what if i checked the timing belt and found nothin wrong wiz it, will the car run just fine and be reliable (AS I HEARD) or i will face another major problems?????
My daughter has had a ton of trouble with her 99 S80 T6, but the dealer has been great about fixing everything at very reasonable prices. Sometimes free. One time she brought them a batch of Chocalate Chip cookies and they didn't charge her. Once she got everything fixed though she hasn't had much trouble at all for about the last two years. She's had it for over four years now. It's a very nice riding car that is fast. Very comfortable too. I sure as heck would not buy one though.
Ranging from transmission problem, electrical problem to big $$$ maintainanace u name it the car will need it!!... Especially if u don't know how to fix cars to begin with.. be aware....
