2018 USA V90 tow hitch / load bar question
Greetings,
I've been unable to get any information on adding a tow hitch etc to a USA V90 T6 I have on order. There is not an available tow package accessory option and cannot be ordered from Volvo.
NY Volvo concierge service was unable to comment or make any kind of recommendation, would not give me any contact information to Sweden or comment on after market or even if there is or is not some sort of physical barrier to even mounting a tow hitch, stating that Volvo had not tested the matter they're would be no comment.
While it seems unlikely that a midsize AWD wagon cannot accommodate a towing package I'm stuck at the moment.
Does anyone here in the USA or our Europe friends have any information on the matter. While not a deal breaker, I would like to add a hitch.

I just ordered a 2018 V90 CC with a tow hitch...

So, it looks like it's not available with the non-Cross Country version of the V90...?
(I wanted the Linear Wood Trim on my CC, but was told that it was only available on the Inscription. Very frustrating that these cars must be ordered - with a 12 week wait, yet you can't order certain options available on similar vehicles in the line...)

Yes, SO FAR.....Volvo regional tech guy. had swung by the dealership while my non CC V90 was there and told my salesman not to mention anything about a tow package as they did not have an electrical solution or such and not known of one would be forthcoming was his understanding.
Now that seems ridiculous but what do I know. I know a recent Jeep buyer who had to purchase a different rear bumper fascia to accommodate a hitch and so that available might be a reasonable delay but what car maker wouldnt want an opportunity to sell more stuff- but a simple electrical access point ? I'm not buying it.
I can't believe this car does not sell in Europe without an ability to pull something, as prevalent as Caravans etc are there. WOnder if there s some way to find out ?
