Default '98 960 Volvo - Missing/Lurching at various speeds

'98 960-S90 w ~ 132K km on the odometer. Took the vehicle to the dealership for its annual inspection, they replaced the fuel filter, steering rack and a few other thingsj. It ran fine on the way up to the dealership(80 Miles) and back however the next day, after filling up with fuel, the vehicle will inconsistantly "lurch" at highway speeds. Sort of like a missfire, sometimes several "lurches" at a time. Seems to only do it after 10 15 miles of use, but has done it occationally at low speeds and just after start up. Thinking it might be bad fuel, I looked on http://www.drivewire.com/vehicle/volvo-s90/fuel-filter/ for replacement filters, (the repair shop in Edmonton, AB charged me $70 for the filter they put in - must be plated with gold!) and I see two styles of fuel filters listed. One that appears to slip over rubber tubing and one that uses a threaded attachment. Bosch W0133-1632277 for the slip on filter and
Bosch W0133-1634556 for the threaded one. Are these both used on the vehicle? or are they alternatives to each other? I have already put methyl hydrate into the fuel in an attempt to rid myself of any water, but didn't seem to help. Where are the filters located? Can one do this replacement oneself or is the dealership needed?
Thanks!
Jim
