Default all weather floor mats 2018 S90 T8

Recently bought a 2018 S90 and the all weather floor mats, but they do not seem to line up when they snap in. We went back and got another set and the same result. Then we asked for feedback and they reached out to Volvo HQ and they are saying they are the right mats. Anyone else experience this?

I had the same problem both with WeatherTech and than with Volvo's mats.
I talked with my rep and it turns out they have special mats for the T8 that work perfectly.

Do you happen to have a part number or something I can reference? There is only one Volvo in San Antonio Texas and they suggested we reach out to the Volvo Inc as they stated the mats provided were the only option.

I seriously doubt that the T8 has a different floor pan than the other S90 vehicles.

A pic would be helpful here.

I will work on the picture, but I assure it someway, somehow it is different. When you line the holes up to snap it into place the middle of the mat bows and/or doesnt reach only allowing you to connect one of the manufactured holes into place.

We have a 2008 V70 wagon at the moment that has the Volvo all-weather mats. They do not snap down over the carpet rivets very well either.

Coincidentally we have a 2008 S80 as well and the volvo all weather mats for it fit perfectly. We got them directly from the dealer at purchase. The same for the trunk mat.

Yes, I'm sure that Volvo made a special set for you.

I sense sarcasm and sorry that I offended you. Thanks for the comments either way.

LOL - not necessary. But I do share what the others are talking about with the all weather mats. They do not seem to fit as well as the carpeted mats.

The car I bought came with the volvo all weather mats. I don't like them. I have Maxpider 3D mats in my pacifica, and I'll probably go with that brand again. they're made of neoprene and have a softer feel and sound deadening qualities. I had a bad experience with wethertech 3d mats on my Tundra, they were deformed and they said they'll settle in, well 6mo later I called them back and they said to put books on them to flatten out the raised area, they wouldn't issue an RGA even after I told them I wanted my money back and wanted to do a full return because I wasn't 100% satisfied, the biggest problem I had was that it was the drivers mat and dirt would get under it as if it wasn't there, I finally gave up, and threw them in the trash.

Just came here to say I prefer 3D MAXpider as well. MUCH more coverage than any of WeatherTech's offerings and a PERFECT, no-shift fit.

Thanks for the reply and feedback...will check those out. I quit asking on here due to the unnecessary sarcasm to my questions, but appreciate your reply.
BTW, for those interested I was finally able to get the correct mats (which were indeed different) for our car.
Mats - 31659290, textile 31659624.
