I have a 98 S90 in great condition. A couple of small issues that I would like to see if i can fix:
The clock doesn't work

The radio reception is not great or consistent

The fog lamps don't work

Help?

I love the car, It is the Blackberry Pearl.

 

RADIO: You can easily pull the radio out of the dash to make sure the antenna is connected to the back of it. It has two taps on either side, push them in with a coin and let them pop out, them pull the deck out (I usually shif the car into L). Once pulled out, you can make sure the antenna wire is plugged all the way in. If that doesn't do it, make sure the antenna is raising when you turn the stereo on. It should have a switch on the dash to keep it down or let it up. If that doesn't help, you may have a bad head (stereo).

FOG LIGHTS: Never had a problem with my fogs. Check the fuse, switch, or relay. Do know that they only come on with the low beam head lights. Also, you only have 1 rear fog light, not 2 (this stops people behind you from being confused with brake lights).

CLOCK: Not sure why your clock doesn't work. Start with a fuse, then try pulling the cluster and make sure it's plugged in all the way.

Thanks for the reply! I found the radio issue. The power antenna was removed and a new non-power universal was installed. And not connected to anything. I just need to find a used power unit.

The fog lights....hmmmm I'll keep investigating. Bulbs possibly?

Clock ok.

Now I just found the fuel gauge is dodgy. Any thoughts?

oh, and to answer the question. This is not my first car by a factor 15 or more, but I always wanted THIS particular car and color. I got it!!!!
