V90 2017 Automatic transmission jerky performance
Hi there!
I have bought my first Volvo V90 2017 2.0 TDI recently (115000km).
I began to pay attention to some of the transmission nuances:
With an average braking till zero, braking occurs with slight jerks in the region of 30 km/h and below. Odometer shows gear change during such jerks. During smooth braking, such transitions are weak, or absent at all.
When braking till 10-20 km/h with following speed pick up, the braking/acceleration transition occurs with some jerks again.
This transmission behavior is annoying especially in traffic jams and slow traffic.
I had a similar experience on my previous Audi 2009, but I expected a very smooth operation of the gearbox in 6-year old Volvo.
Can you please tell me this if the usual gearbox performance, or is it worth checking the car in the service?
