V90 front wheel sensors failing
My 2020 V90 cross country wagon with only 3300 miles on it has had both front wheel sensors go bad which affect the ABS system and a few other things. These repairs have been done under warranty but . . .I am aware the repair would normally cost $350+ and am wondering if other owners are getting any better results or explanations for the failures. So far the explanations I have received from two different Service Departments include: "a bad batch of sensors"; "rough gravelly roads" ; and lastly "rats have been known to eat the wiring harness". ????? I called Volvo customer service and they had no knowledge of the problem. I've also been told by these same Service Managers that the problem is not infrequent. So what is your experience and why isn't Volvo correcting this or advising their dealerships? This is my 7th Volvo and I'm losing confidence.
