I had a problem recently with my one year old V90 cc. At start-up the all the screens were off, the engine started fine, speedometer,air conditionning radio etc did not work. Everything went back to normal after 15min.
Does anybody ever noticed the problem?
I have an appointemnt with my dealer next week. He plans a software update.

In out case it turned out to be two older iPhone 6's paired to the car trying to connect at once. Went through hell to figure that out.

 

I had a similar problem and dealership could not figure out what is wrong. Did a software update..did yours happen since?

 

We traded in the 2017 as the problem was driving us crazy - and got a great deal from Volvo on a 2020. The problem the re-appeared but less frequently. Last year the iPhones were upgraded and the issue has gone away. I am a cyclist dependent on a bunch of bluetooth connections to a Garmin and an iPhone while riding. While I have no science behind this statement, I do think now and then Apple does something that makes a mess of things. It may be accommodating new features or devices I do not know. Currently, we are all downgrading Wahoo Trainers as the connection via Bluetooth to Zwift had become unstable on the latest software.

Note, the problem never happens with only 1 iPhone know to the car in the car or with three such phones. It is only when two known phones appear at a bout the same time.
