2001 V40 Crank case Vacuum
Hi , My 2001 V40, has developed a funny squeak whilst at idle, after reading posts on here I replaced the oil trap. the car runs better, but the squeak is still there and disappears when I remove the oil filler cap. It also has started to cut out with the AC on.. any suggestions..
Logic would suggest the new trap is faulty or are these 2 things related

The oil trap is only part of a PCV system overhaul.
What about the inlet/outlet engine block ports, all the related hoses checked and or replaced and thoroughly cleaned.
The PTC valve also should be cleaned or renewed.
All the above affect the crankcase vacuum.
