Default After Market Brakes and Rotors - Where to buy online?

Hi there,

I have a 2004 Volvo V40.
I want to replace my own front brakes and rotors. I'm wondering what after market brands, websites and parts I will need.

Ideally I would like something with a free return policy or one that I can return in store like Autozone.

Advice?

Adding a location to your profile would be helpful.

There should be all the info you need on materials and tools here - - > https://www.google.com/#q=volvo+s40+...ad+replacement

Autozone, Oreilly, Napa all usually carry the standard stuff along with upgraded parts should you want something like drilled rotors or carbon fiber pads.

I've used several online parts sites - FCPEURO.COM, EEUROPARTS.COM, TASCAPARTS.COM, AUTOHAUSAZ.COM and yes, NAPAONLINE.COM - For rotors, I favor Brembo, Zimmermann and OEMs. Not worth saving an extra $5 for a part with unknown quality IMHO. For pads, I've done full cycle Mintex, Akebono etc in an effort to cut down on brake dust, but I'm now back to OEM due to better feel. All these sites offer a pretty good choice of brands and good customer support.
