Default Bulb Failure warning light, problem.
Hi all,
A few days ago my left front light blowout, but i didn't notice it right away, cause the 'bulb failure' warning light didn't came on...Arghh...The warning light comes on 2-3 secs when the car is turend on, so that bulp is not blown...

Any one mabye knows why?
Can i fix it my self?

Check your owner's manual as the US manual shows only the brake lights are covered by the bulb failure system. Not the way Volvo did it when it was Volvo.

I'll take a look, but as I remember it have worked before on the front bulps.
fyi: my V40 is an european model.

fyi: my V40 is an european model.
I did know that, which was why I suggested checking the book. I am in the UK but have access to owner's manuals which are mostly for the US market.

You where right. It only covers the rear lights.... Arrrgh (
