Default calipre booster

Hi Everyone

I decided to chance my brakepads myself on my Volvo V40 as I have done so on all my other cars - vw, mits, toy and opel, but Volvo seems a little diferent.
I got now as far as having the brake calibre out to put the new disc pads in but I cannot get the booster to move back so I can place the pads in position.

What am I not doing right? Please help.

Are you replacing the front or rear pads?

I am replacing the rear one.I seems to me it has been taken out and put in a vice to push the booster back.
I think i made a mistake to press on the brakes, now the whole booster has come out.

You are in trouble now. I have never had one that far apart. There is a special tool that you need to push the piston back into the caliper.
