heater core replacement/ rebuild?
Hi,
I recently bought a 2013 volvo v40, and within a few months the heater core went out. I had the bypass done to get home from a trip, but now am trying to figure out a way around a quote of $900 ! to replace it. ($500 part/ $300 labor)
Can heater cores be rebuilt, and/or can you buy a used one? Are there generic parts? THanks for any advice, it's gonna be a coooold winter with out one...
