Default idle problem

2002 v40 1.9t starts and idles first thing in the morning fine. put it in drive with foot on the brake dies out. only restarts with foot on the pedal. after that if your not on the gas it stalls. p0102 p0107 mass air and map. cleared codes. changed fuel filter. cleaned mass air. cleaned idle air control. pulled intercooler hose checked for leaks. tried starting with mass air unplugged then map unplugged then both unplugged no different. after clearing codes maf is the first to kick on check engine light 10 times in a row. i got this car for free and the timing belt was done 3000 miles ago its in great shape and everything works. so while awaiting replies i have adjusted throttle cable to keep idle up enough so i can drive it for now. if u guys tell me to suck it up and buy a mass air i'll head to the junk yard and go grab one. thanks for your time
