Hello,

Almost everyday my left headlight goes out randomly. But I noticed that if I kick my foot on where the CEM is located, the light goes back on again (only to go out a few minutes later).

So I was wondering if this is a relay issue inside the CEM, or would this be a dirty/loose connection?

If yours is a 2000--2004 sv40 - Headlamp problems due to bad connections IN the CEM are common. Loose external connections not so much - but are easy to check. That CEM is plug and play so if you can find a (good) used one no software will be needed to make it work.
