Default Which obdii scanner to buy?

I want to add an obdii scanner to my toolkit for the Volvo V40. There's a lot of different ones on ebay and elsewhere, which on should I buy? I like the ones that are used with a laptop, any advice?

Well the S/V40's are a little touchy.
Generic ones will not always read all the codes.
Check on this one.

Or, if you've named your car Millenium Falcon, get the Obdii Won Kenobe model.

Sorry, it just jumped into my sick head and I had to let it out!

that really is a tough job..adding obdi to a car is not as easy as installing a Combination Switch it requires a lot of experience..
