Oil leak on cooler line & ball joint boots
I have a 04 V40 with 50K mile on it. Today I was doing the first oil change since I have owned the car. and I noticed a small oil leak to the right of the drain plug, at first it looked like it had come form the filter housing, but on further inspection I determined it was coming from one of the hoses above . It looked like the hose clamp may have been clamped to tight and might have compromised the hose. It is not a bad leak and the other hose looked good. Does anyone have a compelling reason to change both hoses at the same time?
I also discovered that both of the lower ball joint boots seem some what compromised, Is that a DIY type of project, or should I take it to a shop? How will I know when the ball joints have deteriorated to the point that they require replacement for safe operation?
Any quick thoughts on either of these topics would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, I will have to do some more looking to find the oil leak that I discovered while doing my oil change.
Do you have any possible ideas of where oil might be coming from on the rear, right side of the engine?
