Default problem starting up the car when the engine cold

I have 2001 Volvo V40 1.9T and I noticed when the engine is cold it takes longer to start the car but when the engine is worm I have no problem to start quickly. I am not sure what it could be but I feel like there is no fuel and it takes a 10 seconds to start the engine. I have new battery, I have fuel in the car.

Does any one know what it could be?

Thank you

You need a fuel pressure regulator. There should be plenty of info around here about it.

Hey ES6T, thank you for sharing this information!

I looked on this forum about a fuel pressure regulator as you suggested and it seems this is a problem I have... I am looking forward to purchase this part and replace it.

I will post the result.

I purchased a fuel pressure regulator on eBay for $120. I installed new fuel pressure regulator on Saturday and viola! It fix my problem.

Many thanks to ES6T

Default Vacuum Leaks

Check for vacuum leaks before you buy the regulator.
Had the same problem, and once the vacuum leaks were fixed it started right up.
