Default S/V40 rub during coasting

Hi guys, I've got a rubbing noise coming from the front end. Sounds like its from the front left, but not 100% yet. Only comes when coasting and is most noticeable when turning. As soon as I get back on the accelerator it goes away. Any ideas on what could possibly be causing this. My first thought was a wheel bearing

Torn or loos CV rubber boot?
Check to ensure your midpoint brake hose attachment is secure.Maybe detached from the securement point on your strut.

CV boots all look good. The previous owner had a couple of the boots replaced not long ago. I'm yet to dig into the right hand side, but the left hand side all looked ok and I couldnt pinpoint a source of the noise. Theres a bit of runout on the brake discs, so I'll replace the rotors and whack some new pads in. But Im not sure that will make any difference as the noise is still there when turning under brakes

More than likely it's the pads against the rotor. Maybe a small stone or something is in there.

The thing that has me stuffed is that it disappears as soon as I get back on the gas. Noise is unchanged weather brakes are on or off. There is a slight rub/grinding noises when coming to a stop in a straight line too.

Well new front rotors and pads, noise is still there. Next step is replacing the front wheel bearings
