Default Clanking while coasting, with new CV's, help?.

2000 Volvo V70 XC, 210k miles, just replaced the front CV axles 3 months ago, clicking noise went away for only a day or 2, been getting worse and worse. only makes the clanking sound when coasting or braking, not so much when there's torque, it happens while going straight, left, right, when I let off the gas it sounds like tin cans dragging. Wheel bearings? drive train? it's all wheel drive. when it clanks the worst is when i'm going slow, no gas, turning sharp either way, but nothing noticeable on bumps. checked driveshaft, there is play, can wheel bearings clank when worn? Probably U-joints or driveshaft bearings? The lower stabilizer arm is a bit worn too.
Now clanking bad when braking even after replacing motor mount, all mounts in good enough condition.
