The rear door locks on my 2001 V40 do not always unlock and the manual button is very hard to pull up. It seems as though something is binding and the electric lock does not have enough power to overcome it. Anyone have any ideas about how to fix it?

I had the same thing on my 2000 V40. I sprayed some WD40 in the lock and that solved the issue.
