V40 Left Side Noise when pulling away
Hello All
I am new to the wonderful world of being a volvo owner, I have recently acquired a 53 V40 1.9 TD Sports Lux and I love it. However I have noticed that sometime when I pull away at a junction or underload (slight hill) I get a loud like vibrational noise (it not a whine). I have noticed this seems to be less frequent when the car has been running for a while and almost never happen when I am on the flat road.
I have been reliably informed the is no problem with the clutch after it being tested, but I cant seem to produce the noise to a volvo mechanic (typical isnt it)
Has anyone had this happen to them ....... HELP

wheels
hi
i think this could be one of three things (or all)
1. rust build up on hubs causing low level drum noise on load or heavy cornoring (scuse my spelling) rem =remove wheels and wire brush hubs frt bak and in between.
2. hub barings run down or out of grease rem= new or regrease (copper)
3.brake pads worn down or attached wrong or malfunction
enjoy the diy (much more joy) tony
