Default V40 Misfure Mystery

Hey all! New here - looking for some guidance.

2002 Volvo V40 1.9L Turbo

Going to cut the fat, here's what is going on:

-Started misfiring, codes P0303,304 (cyl. 3 and 4)
-Replaced all 4 plugs and both coils, still misfiring.
-Replaced all 4 injectors for good measure, still misfiring.
-Noticed fuel pump was whining a little more than it should, replaced, still misfiring.

I have swapped positions on the injectors and the misfire did not migrate with the injectors. The coils I tested in my other V40 and those are good, did the same with the spark plugs. I'm starting to come to the conclusion that it could be an issue with VVT or compression loss. Is there a base engine issue I could be overlooking? Anyone have something similar happen to them?

Any input at all would be appreciated!

edit: sorry for title spelling error

edit #2: Wires also got replaced with the new coils.

I'd you put Volvo spark plugs in? Apparently our vehicle is very picky about plugs. Try swapping the spark plugs first if you have not done this already.
