Volvo V40 TD 2000 Check Engine Light Communications
Hi All,
I know that this is a common question but I can't find the threads related to this:
I have a check engine light on my vehicle and a after market scan tool which uses my lap top and some hardware to interface with my vehicle.
On all occassions I have got the scan tool to operate but on all attempts to get the fault codes I get the message can't access modules and retreive fault codes, communications error.
I have checked that the ignition is on before I run the software and I have tried 2 types of software with the same results Scan Tool & scan XL pro with the same results.
Is my vehicle really OBD II compliant ?
