Default where is the fuel filter?

Hi All, I'm hoping someone can help, I recently drove the the car on an almost empty tank and since then the car is misfiring a little, I thought I would change the fuel filter, is this an easy job? where is the filter located?

Cheers
Chris

If it is a 2001-2004 then it is under the drivers side by the rear tire. It is not bad at all to replace.

Default Fuel filter

I tried to change my filter and realized that there is a certain spaner wrench which is needed to remove one of the two connections

A pair of needle hose pliers between the filter and line with a little bit of pressure will push the insert in and allow the line to be slid off.
