Won’t start when cold
Any suggestions?? My V40 will crank, but will not start. More so when it’s cold out. I have to remove, then add, then remove, then add the fuel pump fuse, over and over, to avoid flooding, in order to get it started. Once I finally get it started, it starts and runs just fine for the rest of the day. But the next morning, it will not start again. On colder days it won’t start at all.
I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator, the fuel injectors, the spark plugs, the fuel pump, the coolant temperature sensor, the purge valve, and the idle air control valve. I have cleaned the throttle and the mass air flow sensor. The vvt solenoid seems to work, as does the throttle position sensor.
As mentioned earlier, if I’m able to get it started, it starts fine all day long. But once it sits for awhile and cools down, it won’t start again.
This is a 2004 v40 turbo, 1.9 ltr.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Any check engine light? Did you check for air intake leaks which can lean out the fuel trim? Seems you've covered every part except for spark. Check the wiring harness to the coils for cracks in the connector or consider swapping out the harness (about $125 at Tasca) and replace the coils and wires (check date codes for wires - if over 5 years, replace em).
Thanks, I’ll change the coils and wires and let you know if that solves the no start when cold problem.
Also, yes, the check engine light is on. The code is 0455, large evap leak detected. I’m not sure if that is the reason for the no start. I put on a new gas cap and purge valve, so I don’t know why I’m getting the code.
Any more help and suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks
