Default 1.6tdi won't start

Good evening folks..!

My volvo v50 1.6tdi 2008 suddenly stopped when overtaking a car. The engine was aboute 3000rpm when it haulted.
Stopped the car and started it again without trouble, and drove on.
It happend again and again when reaching about 3-3500rpm on 2. and 3. gear.
Changed the diesel filter, but it did not help.
Red out some codes, and ut says low pressure in the rail.
Put the car away for some weeks when I was on work, and now it won't even start.
Tried to take off one and one of the 2 hoses leading in to the engine bay, to see if there was diesel pressure from the low pressure pump, but nothing..
Is the low pressure pump failing?
Can't find a hole under the rear seat for inspecting the pump, do I have to remove the dieseltank to access the low pressure pump?

Regards, arvalf

If you've got no fuel pressure coming from the low-pressure pump, you've figured out where to look. Here in the US we don't have the diesel variant of the V50, so I'm betting there won't be too much help from anyone here on the specifics...
