Default Brake fluid replacement

Hi

I have just booked in my V50 for a 48000 mile service on my 2 year old Volvo, the garage has asked would I like my brake fluid to be replaced as the car is now 2 years old. They haven't seen the car yet as I take it in, in 4 days time.

Do you think the garage is just looking for extra revenue or does anyone think this is required.

Many Thanks

Might as well get it done. I think Volvo recommends every 2 years.

Do each of my vehicles every two years, brake fluid will deteriorate over time and should be exchanged...

That is one of those things people overlook. Always look in the maintenance section of your owners manual when you're not sure what should be done.

Every 2 years is a standard procedure for brake fluid changes
