Default The dreaded leaky windscreen and faulty window switches, are they linked?

Hi all, yes i know these have all been covered in one topic or another, but i want to ask if anyone has had a similar problem.
i bought my 2010 V50 last week and everything was fine and working well, all interior switches for windows, door locking and mirrors were in top form..... . That is until 2 days ago when the drivers door window and mirror switches stopped working. The door still locks ok and all the other windows open on their own switches.
All i have done with the car is wash her and left her in the heavy rain for 2 days prior to the fault.
Today i tried a new door switch, which did not work, it was then i noticed the drivers footwell was soaking wet.
I did the window "push" test and mine has come unbonded, hence the wet floor (new screen getting fitted next week £344)

My question is, would the water ingress cause the door swith fault?????

i have checked all the fuses and they are ok
I have had door panel off and wiring looks ok
Just wondering once she dries out the problem might dissappear?
thanks for any advice you can give on my new Volvo journey

this is the code i am getting, is this the control pack attached to the drivers door behind the panel?
i have back probed the wires going into the back of the door switches and there is power getting there
Thanks

A closing update for any of you out there with the same problem.
I took the switch apart and you can see the corrosion on the circuit board......
The cause of this was the wife's over zealous cleaning with a liquid cleaner.
THE FIX....i bought a left hand switch from the Netherlands, it's the same switch so fits RHD just make sure the part number is the same, mine was....

31264914

all works perfectly now, hope this helps someone in the future.
Oh and the new windscreen fixed the wet carpets!

If you look close you can see the corrosion/damage to the circuit board by connector pins
