I’m looking to retro fit some front fog lights to my 08 plate V50 and I have a few questions before I start. First & most obvious has anyone done this before? If so is the wiring already in place (inc fuses & relays) or will I need to build my own sub wiring loom? I assuming I can swap the light switch module in the dash for one that has switches for both front & rear fog lights (my current one only has a switch for rear fog lights, see picture below) and I’m assuming both modules have the same connector, can anyone confirm this? Also there seems to be two styles of front fog light and fog light surround convenient referred to as pre 08 and post 08, can I fit either one (post 08 seems to retail for twice the price) or did Volvo subtitly modify the front bumper so only one type will fit? If so any idea how to tell if I need the pre or post 08 fog light, my car in incorrectly an 08 plate.
Thanks
Rob
This is the light switch module I’m referring to.

Reason: Adding more details
I would like to ask from where I can get the software and how to install it ?
I took my car to the local Volvo dealer and they did it for about £60 at the time, I wouldn’t lie it took them longer to drive the car from their carpark into the workshop bay than it did for them to enable the fog lights.
Hardware wise everything was pre wired so very quick & easy to install.
