Default Seat belt lockups

Has anyone experienced seat belt lockups randomly occurring on a VOLVO V50 wagon? I would like to get this issue fixed before my 5 year warranty runs out in November 2009.

I took the car in after my CD player failed. Asked that they look into the seat belt issues and of course it does not occur when the Volvo service guys check the belts. Any suggestions? - Thanks

When you spin something, the centrifugal force will pull it outward. So if you put a spinner in the retraction mechanism and a latch to lock it whenever it spins out. A gentle pull will never cause the latch to engage, but a sudden pull will cause the spinner to spin very fast and swing out something that catch the latching mechanism. The design is quite simple, they need to pick the correct weight of the spinner and the strength of the spring that pull it back to the center. The correct balance will determine how much force will cause the catch to engage.Self Cert Mortgage Rates REAL ESTATE MILLIONAIRE
