V50 will not start in high temperatures
We have a 2005 V50 T5 stationwagon. Car has been fine until few weeks ago when we noticed that after driving, even a short distance, in high temperatures (80F+)/sun the car would not re-start. Turning the ignition key resulted in dashboard, a/c etc. starting up but starter did not turn. After either 30+ ignition attempts and/or sometimes waiting for car to coll down for 2 to 3 hours it would start.
So far, ignition module was replaced ($480) - problem persisted, battery replaced ($280) after local dealership was able to replicate problem and determined low current from battery but problem has persisted and when last encountered we tried but failed to jump start the car. Again, we simply had to wait until it cooled before we could start it.
This is clearly temperature related - any thoughts?

Well i recommend you spend $125 on a OB2 reader to whats wrong with the car, due to the fact that Volvo is all electronically connect with the whole car and whatever the problem the reader will tell you a code and let you know what is wrong with the car internally.
