Single knock from rear after coming to a stop
Hello fellow Volvo enthusiasts,
I have recently purchased a 2005 V50 T5 AWD with 100K miles, it is my first Volvo and I like it a lot. One thing that is bothering me - sometimes after I come to a full stop I hear a single knock coming from the rear of the vehicle and the car jerks a bit - as if something gives power to rear wheels. My first guess is something is wrong with rear differential, but I have no experience with AWD vehicles to even know where to start looking for the problem.
Hoping someone here can give me some guidance on what the problem may be and what it may cost me to fix it.
