Hi all, so I’ve probably made a silly decision and bought a v50 for cheap without giving it an extensive check as I didn’t own any diagnostic equip.

its an 08 2L diesel estate.

Its had an airbag code on dash and “time for regular service” since I got it. I bought an icarly thingamajig in hopes to clear the codes but when I scan it says there’s over 100 fault codes.

i refuse to believe that every single system on the car is failing as it drives and functions correctly with no issues. Anyone have any idea what could be the actual problem? The CEM possibly?

 

Are you able to clear the codes? Codes that are triggered get stored even after the problem is gone. They need to be cleared before they disapear.

After clearing them you can see which ones return. There are the parts with a real actual issue. If you are not able to clear them yourself maybe you can go to a dealer to do it?
