Default Loss of power due to high outside temperatures

The last days i have noticed that when driving with high outside temperatures, the turbo power seems to be at least 20 - 30% less than usual. I know that it is normal for turbo cars not to be able to function at full power due to high temperatures, since the intercooling system cannot manage both things: high interior temperature - high exterior temperature, but is that kind of power - loss normal?
Also, i don't know if somehow the two things are connected, but suddenly i can hear a strange noise coming from the center of my dashboard, as if a small fan is not well screwed. That strange noise is present in different times, but especially when i accelerate hard. Any help or ideas will be more than appreciated...!

The air filter is 4 months old, same as the last tune up. I must note that the outside temperature was around 100 F or 41 C.

Your just getting a lot of heatsoak it sounds like. The intercooler cannot handle it.

Also maybe the Valve in the Bottom of the Air box isn't working Correctly.

I hope that "S70" is right, but "tech" i will follow your advice and check the Valve of the Air Box and let you know.

With the additional noise you are reporting, I wonder if you may have a turbo / intercooler ducting leak? Maybe one of the intercooler tubes is damaged or leaking, and that could explain the lack of power AND the additional noise that you are hearing. I have attached a photo that my buddy sent me - you might check all the connections, etc. to see if you can find any leaks - look for oil/dirt at connections - it will signify the presence of a leak..

Thanks everybody for the info. Took it for a look at the service as tech adviced and in adittion i looked for leaks as Ibrokman said. They (service) and I found nothing. No leaks, nothing unusual in general. The explanation given to me was the first conclusion/thought, that the loss of power was the outcome of high external temperatures, which the intercooler could not handle.
