Default Volvo parts

Hey guys! Have been kinda desperate trying to find a new timing belt and some filters for my V50 at an affordable price. My mechanic gave me some pretty scary prices for what I thought was a quick job and all and I kinda need some advice on what site to buy them cheaper. I found a good site from the UK (https://www.247spares.co.uk/) from which a friend could send me the parts or I could go on https://www.autozone.com/parts but I don't seem to find what I'm really looking for. I'm pretty used to part shopping but not for my car lol. Thanks a lot and any help will be very appreciated because I'm in a ditch right now haha.

Don't forget rockauto.com - best interface for looking for parts, bar none. And their prices are generally as good as anyone's (better than most).

Teddy, where are you located? There's quite a few good online sources in the US - FCP Euro, Eeuroparts, IPD USA are all Volvo friendly and sell both genuine Volvo and OEM parts (some aftermarket as well). As to dealer parts, the best prices I've found is Tasca Parts (based in Rhode Island) although I just got something from Volvocarsgilbert.com via Amazon. Dealer sites are really useful for diagrams and factory part numbers for cross references.

FCP Euro is usually my go to place. They have a lifetime warranty on their parts. I also like IPD and Rock Auto.
