Volvo V50 A/C Making Strange Noise..
Hello,
I recently purchased a certified pre-owned '07 V50. This past week, a strange sound has been coming from around the A/C center console area. It sounds like something is trying to start and turn off, and the airflow from the A/C surges and decreases as the sound comes off and on, almost like it is stuck going between manual and auto climate. It's not a clicking noise, but more like "err err, err err" (best I can describe it!) This happens when:
- the car is moving
- stops when the car is stopped, UNLESS the A/C is on
- stops when the engine is off, but A/C is on
I recently had an ECM update, could it be related to this?
My car is still under the original warranty, so I am taking it in Monday, but wanted to see if anyone has any ideas.
