I have just purchased a Volvo V50 T5 which has a slightly uneven idle, and hesitates slightly under load. I have check the computer for fault codes and the ecu is recording P0027, P0026 (Intake and exhaust control valve solenoid) and P0327 (Knock sensor)


The car had a new cambelt fitted by the previous owner 9k miles ago (the car has done 129K) so I'm thinking the timing maybe out by one tooth as it would be unlikely that both intake and exhaust solenoids would fail at once?

Any advice or guidance would be gratefully received.
