Default What cause the timing belt to jump??

In Oct 5, 2017, I decided to replace all the recommendation from the advisor including timing belt, cam seals, oil pump gasket, both front drive shafts, CVVT pulleys (both cam gears) and water pump (found leaking after they open the cover) because I am planning to drive it for a few more years.
It seems the car was normal after the repair. However, my car had a big jump/choke/hiccup after roughly a month. I didn’t report to Volvo because it went back to normal after that. My car had a second jump/choke/hiccup and the engine light came on around the 2nd month after the repair.
I called Volvo on Jan. 17, 2018 and booked the appointment for Jan. 18, 2018 morning. However, the engine stalled in the morning and I towed the car to Volvo right away.
I got the diagnostic report from Jenny on Jan 18, 2018 morning. The diagnostic report stated “we've found cylinder 1,3,5 has no compression and cylinder 2 and 4 has very low compression. Then we checked the timing on the vehicle and found camshafts out of timing and has caused damage to the valves”.
What might be the cause of the timing belt jump?

did you replace the tensioner when you did the timing belt? if so did you go OEM or after market? sounds like either the timing belt or tensioner was defective.

I am wondering how you changed the VVT pulleys. You need to lock the cam down and the bolt needs to be pretty tight otherwise it will slowly move.

I've never had a Volvo do this on a new belt. But, like asked above, did you replace the idler and tensioner?
