Wood on the center dash?

Wood on the center dash?

Is those real wood pieces on the center dash and armrests? My salesperson at the dealer said that it was real but it sure looks like plastic.

Even if it isn't the V50 is a nice car and I love it so far.

I'm pretty sure its labeled as "Simulated Wood Trim". I love V50/S40s, but the "wood" they use really does lookso plasticky.

I sat in a demo V50 the other day and it wasnt really a question for me: clearly fake.

Volvo does use 'real' wood...............they cover it with a ton of resin. By the way, there are several sites on the net that sell "the rest" of the wood interior. I purchased a kit for my old (01) C70 and it is extreemly nice and places real wood EVERYWHERE! Google "wood dashboards".
