Ok, I read few topics regarding drive shafts on xc's and I am even more confused now.
I have a 2000 XC, 130k on it, I didnt use it at all for the past month. So today I started it and shortly after take off it started making some wiring noise. First I thought that it's because it wasn't driven for a month and that it will go away shortly but as I was driving more noise was getting worse. So I made it to my mechanic and left it there so he can check it out. He coudnt get to it right away but when he finally did (3 hours later) he drove it and couldnt find nothing wrong. Car runs fine, no more noise.
Could it be that driveshaft is on its way out or this has happened because car was sitting for a while? Tires and brakes are 2 months old, bearings were replaced recently as well.
