Is there a legitimate reason for Volvo to recommend replacing the thermostat housing in addition to the thermostat? Volvo dealers and most online parts places will not just sell me the thermostat as a stand-alone. Then would it be not recommended to just get a 190 degree thermostat from Autozone and replace myself? Thanks.
