Default 12V auxillary power sockets not working

Hi, I have a UK 2005 V70 diesel and the 2 x 12v sockets in the passenger compartment are not working. don't know how long they have not been working. I have checked and replaced the fuse in the fusebox under the drivers side. I have checked that there is no power on either side of the fuse so I am assuming the problem lies between the battery and fusebox. Looking on the 'typical wiring diagram' in the Haynes manual it seems that there is a overload relay in the system, can anyone tell me where this relay is located- it is connected to the ignition switch and powered from the battery via the engine bay fusebox. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did you replace fuse #11 on the CEM?

The wiring diagram for a 2005 (post above) does not show a relay - there may be one built into the newer style CEM - but it would be soldered on - and Volvo does not show what's inside the later CEM.

A 2002 v70 with the earlier CEM does have an external relay that powers fuses 11-14 in the c fusebox (on the end of the dash, 13 is for the lighters) Here's a diagram of where the power relay 2/30 is on that older CEM.

For the 2005 have you scanned the cem for trouble codes and erased them?
