Do you have to remove both the front and rear seats in the wagon to replace the front end of the cables on the handbrake quadrant? I have the seats removed but have not rolled the carpet up yet. There is no way beneath the car to get at the connecting point for the cables. No problem with rear connection. Thanks in advance, old iron nut.

PS - I'd expect the 98 V70 to be the same as the 850s.

 

This video isn't even close to what I am dealing with. There is no way to remove the centre console on this unit. I have the seats out but on my vehicle it is entirely differrent. 850 is a different car.
