Default 1998 v70 engine swap

needing some advice on which motors will work in my 98 v70(blown head gasket). It is a turbo and front wheel drive.
have found a good engine from a 98 that is an v70R, wondering it that could work?? running out of time on the grabbing this one, so please reach out if you could help me, thanks.

94-97 Turbo 850 2.3L engine will drop in just fine, if you keep your intake manifold and fuel rail.

98 V70R engine will work.

is the v70R gonna be easy or is there modifications?
same deal with the manifold and the fuel rail?

As long as the V70R have no VVT, then everything is a drop in.

Always use the fuel rail and injectors of your current car.
