1998 volvo v70 overheating after extensive parts replacement.?%$@*)
My 1998 Volvo V70 is still overheating after all this has been done...
It leaks out coolant via tank cap, then over heats in the red.
Replaced all coolant hoses, cap, reservoir, sensors...
Heater coil
water pump, timing belt
tensoiner
thermostat, and housing w new gasket
fan control switch
So not sure what is left to check this is getting weird now any help I can get would be great!

well if you replace the radiator you will have hit everything. Any reason not to suspect a clogged radiator? Do the hoses get very firm when the engine warms up? its possible you have a head gasket issue over pressurizing the system. Does the fan kick on as expected? is it pulling air through the radiator?
Yes fan goes on well and I just got a combustion gas test kit to see if the head gasket is the issue.
I said it since the beginning three months ago, but I was overridden! LOL
Flow from radiator is great as well.
Will let you know once I do the test tomorrow!
Thanks again!

Well the good news is we have the problem it is definitively the head gasket, what we suspected since the beginning but did not want to admit it since it is a lot of work to do (the bad news).
Funny now I have 2 volvos down with head gasket issues at the same time! LOL
Thanks for all the help!
