Hey Folks,

I have a 1999 V70 GLT and don't think the stock headlights are all that great. I am looking to upgrade the bulbs to be brighter (and further), as I do a lot of night driving. Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

They have a few bulb options on www.iPdUSA.COM. I haven't tried any but may in the future. There are also HD kits that some switch to, the type with the HaLo's.

 

Forget the bulbs, the most you may get is 6-7% better
You need to spend some money, either on an aftermarket HID kit
or 2004 C70 clear jewel headlights which are 1000 times better light and 1000 times better looking

 

Hello, HOLY COW! Those units do look great. Will those "2004 C70 clear jewel headlights" fit a 1999? Too bad so many cars are going forward when they get into accidents (junk yard reference). Kira

 

No they don't.
That's why I suggested them....

OF COURSE THEY DO
They fit all 98-2000 S and V70s and of course all C70s
