can any one tell me whats involved, does the bumper need to be removed?

 

I don't know how different your 2000 is from my 98, but on mine it's easy. Unplug the wire connector, un-do 3 bolts (2 one side, one on the other), and withdraw the entire unit from the rear.

 

Should be just like any 1998-1999 model 70 series.

- Remove the wiring harness from the back of the headlights.
- Take a 10mm socket and take off the three bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
- Take headlight assembly out.
- Then reverse the process to reinstall.

You do not need to remove the bumper to remove the headlights.
