Unhappy Possessed driver's seat

Have you heard anything about a drivers seat being possessed? It doesn't happen all the time , but when it doeas, it randomly moves either all the way back or all the way forward when unlocking the door to enter the vehicle. Just last week I was leaving work and I unlocked the car then was about to enter the car when the seat reclined fully forward and moved all the way forward. I was able to stop it and move it back a little bit, but then it stopped working alltogether.

This has happened about 5 times since we bought it in June 2009. It doesn't appear to me anything is obstructing it, which would cause the thing to stop working. I reset the alarm, went inside and searched the forums for ideas. Then with no luck I went back outside and everything worked fine. I unplugged the connector coming from the seat controls to check for loose connections, but that just tripped the SRS warning!

You should have been there when I was trying to get into the seat. My wife, on the phone, couldn't stop laughing when I told her what had happened. I told her I think her car doesn't like me because I am too critical of it. With the seat problem, lurching tranny and terrible handling and all. But she loves it. Whatever makes my sweetie happy I suppose...
