Is the 2001 pre-wired for fog lights?
My car came with the rear fog, but not the fronts. There is a piece of plastic on the dash next to the rear fog switch which looks like I could just punch it out and plug in the switch. The question is... am I going to find a plug back there? More importantly, am I going to find wires in the front bumper?
What do you all think? If there is nothing I might just go aftermarket.

Most are prewired.
If you remove the blank cover the switch should be under the cover. You will need to buy a new cover to install.
That is most of the cars but not all of them.

And you will have to go to a Volvo dealer and they have to "activate" the fog lights in the car's software. That little button is only there to give an input to the controller/ecu (not supply power to the light), so if the software does not know what the input is for, nothing will happen when you press it
Sweet, we've got most of it covered. As soon as it warms up a bit I guess it's time to crawl under the bumper and check for wires there.
